I fear I already know the answer to this question but I thought I'd try anyway.
I have a project that generates music and sheet music using Lilypond. I want to allow the user to use any music font they want (the free music fonts). But I want to keep things as simple as possible. So I don't want for them to have to figure out how to install the music fonts into the standard places that Lilypond looks for them. Instead I'd love for them to be able to download my software and keep those music fonts in a subdirectory of my project and for Lilypond to be able to find them. I've experimented a lot with this and cannot get anything to work. And based on what I've read I don't think it is possible, but I'm hoping this isn't the case. I really don't want to have to deal with making people install these fonts when it feels like I can just include them with my project.
