I have located the music: It is not by Kodály, but from a pupil of
Kodály, Mátyás Seiber (written in 1929), as has been suggested by Arne
Peters. It has been published in the United Edition in 1958. It actually
costs Euro 18,90 per partitur and contains also another song with a poem
from Morgenstern ("Das Problem"). They have sent to me the first three
pages and it is the song we sang long ago.

Thanks for all the contributions to this thread.
