I know how to work around, that's what I've been doing. I'm trying to regain functionality because I'm working through hundreds of examples and to crop and custom size every single one of these is going to be a big task (3x the work).
Do you have any advice otherwise? How can I get my hands on 3.0? Or what about a different reinstall process?
