lilypond-book-snapshot

While looking around in my texmf directories, I noticed that the /usr/share/texmf/tex/lilypond-snapshot directory is a soft link to ../../lilypond/2.4.2/tex, but there is no such directory. There is a directory ../../lilypond-snapshot/2.4.2/tex

Should I remove the soft link and change it to the appropriate directory, or will this damage things?
