Probably no harder than anything else ... I'm bad at remembering stuff, but years ago I was told I had to learn a piece by heart because we were playing on stage, and would be blinded by the lights. I don't think we did a bad job ... :-) (A brass band, we marched on from the wings, once round the stage, and fanned out across the front facing the audience.
