Well this sounded really promising. When I tried I got:
rpmbuild --rebuild guile-1.6.7-2.src.rpm
Installing guile-1.6.7-2.src.rpm
error: Failed build dependencies:
libtool-ltdl-devel is needed by guile-1.6.7-2.i386
So I looked for libtool-ltdl-devel and found:
libtool-ltdl-1.5.14.multilib2-5.i386.rpm
libtool-ltdl-devel-1.5.14.multilib2-5.i386.rpm
Went to install them and got:
Preparing... ###########################################
[100%]
file /usr/lib/libltdl.a from install of libtool-ltdl-
devel-1.5.14.multilib2-5 conflicts with file from package
libtool-1.5.6-4
file /usr/lib/libltdl.la from install of libtool-ltdl-
devel-1.5.14.multilib2-5 conflicts with file from package
libtool-1.5.6-4
file /usr/lib/libltdl.so from install of libtool-ltdl-
devel-1.5.14.multilib2-5 conflicts with file from package
libtool-1.5.6-4
<sigh>
Then I grabbed libtool-1.5.14.multilib2-5.i386 so it would match and
got:
error: Failed dependencies:
gcc = 4.0.0 is needed by libtool-1.5.14.multilib2-5.i386
Argh,
David
