I can see why that's relevant with regards to the length of the music,
but I'm struggling to understand the details of the scheme fragment:

but I don't really understand what that means. How is the Moment object
related to the number of measures in \musicwithdrone ?
And what is meant by /compressing/ a music object by a factor?
To reach a solution, I'll also need to understand how to get the "1" in
"c'1" from a variable (actually, the denominator of the time signature),
rather than being literal "1".
Perhaps I'm trying to run before I can walk :-)
