Hello, Are you using \bookOutputName / \bookOutputSuffix for controlling the names of the pdf files? In my experience this can throw frescobaldi off if the resulting file name doesn't end with some digit. (As far as I remember there already exists an issue, but I'm not aware of any more detailed analysis.)
