Ming Tsang and I have been discussing this problem off-list, and now I understand what's going on. Here are the steps to recreate the problem:
1) On a Windows 10 machine, create a folder structure with a multi-character folder in the path, like this: c:\documents\CHOIR_2021\勉勵\ 2) In that folder place a LilyPond file. It can be anything. 3) From the Windows Explorer, double-click the LilyPond file. 4) Frecsobaldi will open with two blank tabs. I can enter this as a Frescobaldi GitHub issue, but I wanted to run it past the list to see if anyone knew of a solution. -- Knute Snortum On Sun, Jul 4, 2021 at 7:16 AM Knute Snortum <[email protected]> wrote: > > It looks like it might be related to this issue: > > https://github.com/frescobaldi/frescobaldi/issues/1376 > > -- > Knute Snortum > > On Sun, Jul 4, 2021 at 7:09 AM Knute Snortum <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > This looks like a bug in Frescobaldi, where it can't handle non-latin > > characters in the file path.
