Hi Peter, > One solution (possibly the easiest to implement) would be to have a > PartCombine version which combines only notes, and nothing else.
I have a dream… a dream that one day, I learn enough Scheme and can dedicate enough time to rewrite the part-combine mechanism to solve some / many / all of its current limitations. Certainly, one of the very first things I would implement is a parameter by which the user could choose which items/grobs were combined. > I think I'm just going to write a separate piano part. SO often, I just end up doing that… I sort of appreciate it as a pianist, but it is tedious as an engraver. Cheers, Kieren. ________________________________ Kieren MacMillan, composer (he/him/his) ‣ website: www.kierenmacmillan.info ‣ email: [email protected]
