Hi Knute; Thank you very much for the two sustain pedal spacer suggestions.
I had tried quite a few combinations with the spacers but just couldn't get it to work correctly. I'll take a second look at what I tried and what you have suggested here to see where my imagination failed. Thank you also for a suggested implementation of the spacer in a dynamics context. I was having trouble putting those two concepts together.
