Hyphenation rules or not, for _singing_ purposes it tends to lead to better perfomances to put consonant groups at the start of the next syllable rather than the end of the current one. Admittedly this works better with non-English languages where vowels aren't pronounced in dozens of different ways depending on how a word completes. -- David Kastrup
