My first post, so apologies if I am asking trivial questions.
I am engraving some of my existing oboe music, as I find it hard to read scores at an oboe-length from my music stand. The idea is that I can print them enlarged on A3 paper to make it easy to see them.
The music I am trying to reproduce has the following simple phrase at a cadence: "d8\prall( cis)".
But the slur and prall are in parentheses in the score, with the (prall) above the (slur).
I've been through notation.pdf and snippets.pdf, but can't find anything similar.
There are similar occurrences with \trill's and \mordent's. Could somebody suggest a simple way to achieve this? Thanks in advance. -- Best wishes -- Peter --
