OK, here are some scans that I've found. As you can see, this kind of
subdivision is not so special as previously assumed.

Looks like your Prokofiev example just limits the # of beamlets removed,
but if you have other examples that actually impose an offset (as if the
1st and 3rd subdivisions show a 32nd subdivision instead of all 3 being
at the 16th level), let me know as I'll just only implement the
possibility of setting a bound for now.
