Thank you, Mark.
I have a follow-up question:
In a situation where there’s a \break, the tie created by \laissezVibrer in
bar 3 appears too short.
Is there a way to manually extend or adjust its length?

```
\version "2.24.4"
\fixed c' {
\time 4/4
r2. g8 a8 ~ | \break
\repeat volta 2 {
a2. c8 c'8 ~ | \break
\alternative {
\volta 1 {
c'2. b8 a8\laissezVibrer \bar ":|."
}
\volta 2 {
\break
c'1\repeatTie |
}
}
c1 \bar "|."
}
}
```
