When you don't care about the midi output you could modify the spacing by changing the length of the notes. Multiply them with rational fractions like *1/2 or *3/4 or *5/7 or whatever seems appropriate to shorten the distance. Similar to lengthen it. It requires a bit of trail and error but you'll get a spacing closer to what you would have in a proper gregorian chant. Kind regards, Michael
