why would you thing so? You’ve got Lilypond in version 2.25.7, and the file 
asks for version

And that is exactly what is expressed in the error message:

means: Lilypond version is 2.25.7, but file specifies version 22.5.7, which 
from the view of 
Lilypond 2.25.7 is a newer version. You suggestion

would imply that the Lilypond version was 22.5.7 (which does not even exist), 
and the file asked 
for 2.25.7. Then it would mean that Lilypond does not take major version into 
account, which 
would be weird.

So you see, the message is totally correct as it is.
