Actually, I think there is plenty to see in the log. When you get pages overfull by 26 staff lines, that means there is no place to make a page break. The fact that there are only two possible choices for page breaks is concerning. May I suggest that you put bar checks in your \chordmode music? I believe that what is happening is that your chords are spanning over barlines and thus preventing line and page breaks at the locations that would make for easy layout. The simplest way to make that visible is to use bar checks, and you'll get warnings where the timing is off. If you're willing to share your score with me, I'll be happy to take a look at it.
