Hi all.

Making song charts.

How does one hide notes _and_ their ties and slurs?

When printing multiple verses with different rhythms eg:

Happy birthday dear Brody
Happy birthday dear Meredith

I usually create two voices and use /hideNotes like this:

<<
\new Voice = "verse" {
      \voiceOne
      r2 c8 c | c'4 a f | e d2 | % etc...
    }

    \new Voice = "verse_two" {
      \voiceTwo
      \hideNotes
     r2 c8 c | c'4 a f | e8 e d2 | % etc...
}
>>

But any _slurs or _ties aren't hidden (by /hideNotes). (They get displayed at
top and bottom)

Have experimented with:

         \override Tie.color = #white and \override Slur.color = #white
        (with perhaps there being some Opacity override I haven't found yet.)

But I expect this is a solved problem I'm in need of some schooling/direction
on.

Thank you as always for your help.
