Perhaps whoever is managing the web-site could arrange for some links
like perhaps:
https://lilypond.org/doc/stable/Documentation/learning/index.html
<https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.24/Documentation/learning/index.html>
and
https://lilypond.org/doc/unstable/Documentation/learning/index.html
<https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.24/Documentation/learning/index.html>
(and the other index pages, and possibly, though not necessarily, pages
within the doc, as those are liable to change )
to be set-up and always to point to the current incumbent. Thus anyone
could set a static bookmark that would point to the most recent documents.
Regards,
Richard.

Hey Knute!
Thanks for the reply all tip!
Ahhhhh looks like I made a bookmark in 2.23 and it somehow got me
continuing the links through to other documentation in 2.23, not
sure how one wrong page led me to a different old version via the
homepage, but I'll just update my bookmarks! Or is there a way to
link to these pages and then the URL just gives the latest version?
The link has to have the correct version number in it, like:
https://lilypond.org/doc/v2.24/Documentation/learning/index.html
For version 2.23 to version 2.24, you can often just change the 2.24
to 2.24 but that won't always work for 2.24 to 2.25, since the web
pages don't always have a one-to-one relationship. I usually search
from Google (or another search engine) with keywords like this:
lilypond doc 2.24 <my search keyword>
... and that usually brings up the correct LilyPond version, but your
mileage may vary.
