I can only guess that the job to fetch the latest LilyPond version failed once, perhaps because of the GitLab incident today? ( https://status.gitlab.com ) The result is cached for one day. I've rebooted the server to clear that cache and now compilations work but there might be still be pages displaying that error because their content was also cached. I think this problem will fix itself as that cache probably doesn't last forever but I'm not sure; investigating why MediaWiki's purgeList.php script doesn't seem to work on this wiki and how to actually purge all pages is still on my TODO list… Meanwhile, if you see the error, you can append "?action=purge" to the URL and click "OK" to rebuild it.
