Is there a way to outdent the footnote numbers to the left?
Some questions about what you wish for precisely:
Is what you want really an outdenting of the footnote numbers? Even if
the numbers then move further into the paper margin?
Or do you want the first footnote line to be indented (as in your
example)? What should happen for multi-line footnotes?
