Quoting Yoshiaki Onishi <[email protected]>:

Hi Harry,

the code below results in loss of the flags of the following 1/8th notes as can be seen in the picture I took of the result.\version "2.24.1"
\new TabStaff \fixed c {
\tabFullNotation
< g'-1\1 >8[ < f'-4\2 >8]
< d'-1\2 >8 < c'-3\3 >8 \^ cih'
< d'-1\2 >8 < g'-1\1 >8
< f'-4\2 >4
}

Admittedly I am not a frequent user of Tablature notation, I see that you can fix the issue you are having in one of the two ways.

1) put bracket in the line right after cih’:

%%%BEGIN%%%
< d'-1\2 >8 [ < g'-1\1 >8 ]
%%%END%%%

2) If you don’t want the eighth notes to be beamed, you can use \noBeam:

%%%BEGIN%%%
< d'-1\2 >8 \noBeam < g'-1\1 >8
%%%END%%%

Looks a bit buggy, though…? Not sure what the developers think.

All the best,
Yoshi

Re. 1): Am I right that you mistakenly quoted the first line instead of the second?
