Thank you Tina, I see. I didn't quite notice how the extension part of a chord was described as "this is the top note", I thought it was just a way to specify notes to add beyond a triad
So that explains why c:4 produces <c e f>, but what's the story with the namer? Why does it call this chord "C4 sus4 3"? What does that even mean? (for context I'm working on a corpus of files I received from elsewhere, and stumbled on this randomly, but it caught my eye, so to speak) Thanks again L -- Luca Fascione
