Normally you can quote spaces as "\ "like in /User/me/My\ Documents
The file completion, single or double quotes all produce the same
result, like:
$ /usr/local/bin/lilypond foo\ bar.ly
GNU LilyPond 2.7.4
warning: can't find file: `foo'
warning: can't find file: `bar.ly'
error: failed files: "bar.ly foo"
