This code:
{\override Stem #'beamed-lengths = #'(7 8 10)
dis'16 dis'8 fis'16:64 ~ fis'8. fis'16 }
does create very long stems, for all notes in your example, in 2.6. You may
want to \revert the setting after the first beam though.
