You could try this. I don't know if it will be easier:
\context Voice = one { ... } \context Voice = two { ... } etc
then assign lyrics to each Voice that will correspond to a section of your
score, like:
\context Lyrics = verseone \lyricsto one { ... }
\context Lyrics = verseone \lyricsto two { ... }
\context Lyrics = verseTwo \lyricsto one { ... }
I hope I didn't confuse you even more:)
