And is there a way to force Lilypond not to use more than 2 Pages and
therefore skale the notes a bit if necessary?
You can alter the size of everything by changing the font size. See the
docs, "Setting global staff size".
Thank you very much, the default size is far too big :-)
Is there a solution for the other problem, is it possible to override
the automatic decision whether a note points up or down?
