Would a non-programmer have big issues with continuing their music using the
developer releases? Do the developer setup packages install everything as

releases? Risk-wise I can tolerate minor software defects and workarounds,
but would not want to install something that has "show stopper" bugs, but
dont mind being on the "bleeding edge".
Great! More usage means more testing which means better software.
However, be aware that "show stopper" bugs *will* occur -- we obviously
try to avoid them, but I can pretty much guarantee that there will be at
least one before the next stable release. When they do, just remember
that you're using the non-stable package: send a polite email to -devel
or bug- letting us know about the problem, and then downgrade your
version of lilypond to the previous version.
