Since both ends of a glissando has to be within one and the same
musical voice (i.e. Voice context, in LilyPond terminology), you have to use a single voice that switches stave. Then the glissando should work without problems.

Hi. I was wondering how I'd do a cross-staff glissando. In this case, I'm going
from a G in a bass clef up to a G in a treble clef for harp.

All I can figure out so far is how to do a glissando up in the bass clef. I've
done several searches and couldn't find anything. Can anyone help?
