Martin, just to clarify, are you referring to the inability of the tab staff to accomodate altered tunings? If so, this is a wall I've run up against as well, and I would be interested in helping sponsor a solution. My current solution is to enter the "wrong" notes in the tab staff so that the tab shows what strings/frets a player would actually play in the intended tuning.
