A couple of us have started a 'lilypond wiki' so that people can collaborate on the creation and or editing of lilypond scores.
It's at http://draft.wikilily.org and if you have any ideas on how to implement something, well, just go ahead and do it. It has a number of extensions already installed - a 'chat', a forums extension, and the wikitex extension for inline rendering.
