I agree. I was surprised, not unpleasantly to have midi files appear,
and learned how to do them by example, But /still/ would prefer the
templates to not have them. (Unless you make a midi output template;)
The new documentation is wonderful, and as soon as it's all available
indexed and searchable, certainly midi wouldn't be hard to find!.
