A quick and dirty solution:
\time 4/4 \repeat unfold X { s1 s1 s1 s1 \break }
where X is the number of lines you want to get.
To be absolutely sure it doesn't break incorrectly, I think you'd
have to use
\repeat "unfold" BARNUMS { \repeat "unfold" BARSPERLINE { s1
\noBreak } \break }
Also, you might want to \remove the time signature engraver.
