I know, the subject is not clear.
And I am not sure if I can make me clear, but let me try.
My time is 2/4. Thus a half note (minim) will take the entire bar.
But I have an optional note (eight of duration) between parenthesis.
I know how to write the note in parenthesis (\parenthesize), but I do
not know how to make this second note appear as if the previous one has
just half of its duration.
