Do you have the lilypond.xml file from Bertalan Fodor (LPTool author) in your jEdit modes folder? You could disable the autocompletion by going to the plugin options in jEdit, and opening the general options for the Sidekick plugin, then unselecting the checkboxes within the Code Completion Options.
