I asked a similar question more than a year ago. But I was looking for
traditional harmony analysis. The answer came as a lyrics option. Now I
realize that the best way is to create your symbol in Inkscape, then import
it to your lilypond code. It is easy. You can do it.
Now I don't have my examples around, but as soon I put my hands on them,
I'll send a minimal example.
