Hi Bertalan, I deleted the file »jedit« in /Users/myname/Library/ but when I relaunched jEdit 4.3pre17 the program stopped again early and the file »jedit« reappeared.
http://www.java.com recommends to update Java via the apple-function Software-Update. It is up to date. Any other ideas? Thanks for your help.
