Well, the docs suggest setting 'outside-staff-priority
to #f to take it out of the stack of outside-staff grobs
(anything non-numeric will work, I think).
This is mentioned in section 4.4.3 in the Learning Manual
and 4.4.5 in the Notation Reference.
