Patches gratefully accepted. I thought it was quite clear, since the
default maj7 symbol is replaced with an exception in the snippet. But if
you can provide improved text, we can get it changed.

No, I don't think so. But you might be able to use
f:m\markup{stuff}
to get what you want.
