I guess LyricsHyphens #'thickness is "well known" or can be set explicitly.
So you could, probably, use \markup and \postscript to draw it.
Smth like
\addlyrics { \markup { \concat "Pro" \yourhyphen "phe" } -- tan }
or like that. Just need to define \yourhyphen, i mean .)
