Version 2.12.3 I want to print the current bar number at the start of a score. In theory you can do this by inserting \bar "" but this does not work when the score begins with a \partial . The only relevant post I can find is
bar numbers at beginning of line by Walter Hofmeister 2007/08/05 and the stated solution was \once \override Score.BarNumber #'break-visibility = #all-visible or #'#(#t #t #t) and I tried both with no visible effect. The manual says the same. I would be happy to print the number after the \partial .
