Technically, it's impossible to include external fonts, since once they're included they cease to be external. Patches will be thoughtfully considered (and I'm assuming that the patch is under GPLv3). The main questions are "does it break anything that's currently working", "does it make things slower", and "does it make the download size much much bigger".
