Thanks a lot! It took me awhile to figure out how to open that file
on a mac. I only changed the size of the noteheads:
startGraceMusic = { \override Voice.NoteHead #'font-size = #-5 }
and I think it looks fine. That is, it's easier to tell the grace
notes apart.

little noteHeads with long stems... sort of giacommetti-like music ;-)
