Hello,
With lyrics and ChoirStaff a long word may overlap into an adjacent bar
and this looks visually ok. Now I want to set a piece with Mensurstriche
which essentially is StaffGroup and in some tightly spaced staff lines
the overlapping words have the bar line cutting through them.
Is there an alignment option that keeps the lyrics (and maybe the --
dashes)
contained within the horizontal space of the bar?
When this does not happen too often, one might fix each spot individually.
What is the best way for such a manual workaround?
I'm using version 2.12.3

You might also find that the latest development version does what you want
automatically.
