I do not find anything in "Changes" about VerticalAlignment.
convert-ly does not change the following code but it fails with
2.13.54 when it passed with 2.12:

\context { \Score
\override VerticalAlignment #'max-stretch =
#ly:align-interface::calc-max-stretch
}
}
