Here is a proposal (other possibilities exist):

\version "2.12.3"
\relative c' {
  \clef alto
  \once \override Beam #'positions = #'(3 . 5)
  ees,16 ees ees' ees
}


I'm surprised the collision also happens with latest dev version
(tested on 2.13.55), I would have expected the new beam collision
engraver to handle this nicely.
