Thanks. I'm a newcomer to command-line. I've tried emacs and other editors, but LyX is closer to the way I'm used to doing things. I may end up doing just what you recommend, but for the moment I'd just like to know what a "lilypond book latex package" IS and how to get it. I'm lost.
