Uh, a perfect fifth are 7 semitones.

perfect=c'
fifth=g

\transpose \perfect \fifth \music

Though this only works with 2.15.30 which is not released yet.

But what's wrong with specifying an interval as c' g ? The problem with
specifying it with "semitones" is that this information is incomplete.

\transpose c' g

is quite different from

\transpose c' aeses

even though the number of semitones is identical.
