It works, but I see that it just puts up the glissando, which remains

Even if the glissando is moving just by one semitone, it should be
slightly slanted, shouldn't it?
You were right: by default glissando line is invisible because the
default ending points are 1 and 1, so they are at the same level of the
Staff line.
I think that using the bound-details override would be much better.
I'd be curious to know why they work in 2.14.2 and do not work in 2.15.38
